Employment equality

While Republicans prioritize profits for the giant energy corporations that bankroll their campaigns at the expense of hardworking Virginians who pay higher prices, Democrats are working to bring more green manufacturing jobs to Virginia.

Tackling crime in the commonwealth

After recent mass shootings, it’s clear that common sense reforms, like a mandatory wait period, would help keep Virginians safe. But MAGA Republicans in Virginia won’t support common-sense reforms and are also trying to repeal our Red Flag laws, which keep firearms out of the hands of dangerous people.

Reproductive freedom

MAGA Republicans pushed the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and are now trying to pass abortion bans across the country, including here in Virginia. Democrats are fighting back against extreme abortion bans and will continue to defend reproductive rights.

Improving education for all

Instead of addressing real education issues like our teacher staffing shortage, school safety, and falling test scores, Governor Youngkin is trying to divide and politicize our students again. Youngkin proposed history standards so extreme that they removed Martin Luther King Jr. from the curriculum.
